Obituary of Edna Annie Baxter

Edna Baxter of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Carewest Royal Park on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the age of 83 years. She was a distinguished teacher, respected and loved by her students in Hesketh, Canmore and Calgary. In recognition of her contributions during her twenty-nine years of teaching, she was awarded an Honourary Lifetime Membership in the Alberta Teacher’s Association and the Home Economics Council of Alberta. Her kindness touched many hearts. Edna is survived by her loving family – Diane and Greg, David and Joanne and granddaughters, Chelsea and Carissa. She was predeceased by her husband George and her son Bill. Funeral Services will be held at Parkdale United Church (2919 – 8th Avenue N.W.) on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev.
