Obituary of Melvin Niel (Mabin “Uncle Bus” Audae; Papa) BEAVER

Melvin Beaver was called home by our Creator on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 58 years.

Melvin will be sadly missed by his loving children, Niel, Leah, Melvette, Clint, Erik, Chelsi, and Melvin Jr.; and wife of thirty-four years, Angeline. Melvin is also survived by brothers Dallon  (Maryjane) , Nigel, Cameron, Johnny Thomas, and Mike Lickers; sisters, Alice, Thelma, Rose, and Verna (Tyrone), Krista (Barry), Lorraine, and Nancy Ear;  aunties, Mary Jane Crane (Mom), Barbara H., Yvonne H., Virginia H., Evelyn (Jeff) H., Lilian D, mother-in-law Catherine Powderface; sister-in-law Winnifred Beaver; twenty-five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special grandson Cowboy Jr.; special niece Aprilvonna (Shylynn); special nephew Preston; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Melvin had extended family from Maskwacis, Big Horn, Eden Valley, Alexis, Paul Band, and Sunchild. 

Melvin was predeceased by his parents, Nat House (1976) and Sheila Beaver (1997); brothers, Stewart (1950), Preston James (1974), Ferlin (1981), Jess (2017); adopted brother, Ross Shingoose; and sisters Edna (2001), Helen (2005), and nieces and nephews.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Chelsi Powderface (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.  Funeral Services will be held at the Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Melvin’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
