Obituary of Ferlin CRAWLER

November 30, 1961 – Morley, Alberta
March 6, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ferlin Crawler. Ferlin was a kind, humble man, had a good sense of humour, and liked making people laugh. He was a good character. He enjoyed talking about his old days of playing hockey and participating in rodeo as a calf roper, which he had fond memories of. He was also a huge fan of the Calgary Flames. He also enjoyed being outdoors, watching wrestling, and listening to country music. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. That made him happy and proud to be a grandpa. Family was important to him as he was always there for his family.

Beloved husband of Charlene Stephens; father too, Tyrone, Lindsay (Cory), Dannette (Toby), Stephanie, Megan (Trent), Brett, Tashina, Leroy and Lisa; sisters, Martha, Irene (Dony), Colleen (Conrad); and twenty-two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two loving sons, Ian Bigcrow, Ferlin Jr.; daughter Crystal; his parents, Alma Crawler and Joe Brown; one grandson; brothers, Bud, Larry, Pat, Logey; grandfather George Crawler; sisters, Marilyn, Deanna, Cheryl, and Angeline. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends who knew him. We apologize if we have missed anyone.
