Condolences
So sorry to hear of the loss of Grant. He was a great framer and rancher. He was a pleasure to talk to . His family always seemed to be his big interest. His wife was a wonderful companion and always pleasant. He will be missed in the community as well as at the Balzac United Church. May his family know they are lucky to have had a close knit family. My sincere wishes go with you Linda
To the Shuttleworth family,
I am so sorry to hear of the sad news of Mr. Shuttleworth's passing, particularly as I missed being able to express my condolences in person.
As a child, we spent many days and evenings with your family on the farm and I recall his wonderful smile, generosity, kindness and patience in teaching us about the farm. I will never forget the vacation we spent with Kathy and Grant as we toured northern BC and Prince Rupert many, many years ago.
My heart goes out to you in saying farewell to a wonderful man, your husband and father. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Kathy, Wayne, Darryl, and all the Shuttleworth families. We are sorry to hear of Grant's passing. We always enjoyed our visits to the family farm where Grant would love to show the vegetable garden, the saskatoon berry patch and also the fish pond. It is also with great memories that we recall sharing a cool drink and some freshly grilled hamburgers with Grant on the back porch of the house where we would talk about many and varied topics. He was a warm and kind man who we will always have fond memories of.
Our sincere condolences to the whole family.

Kathy and family. Lorilee and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Grant. Being neighbors in Balzac, I will always remember the friendliness of Grant and his wiliness to help Dad with any farming questions he had. Families like yours are what childhoods are made of. It is a trying time in our world and then to have to deal with Grant’s death will be hard. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
