Condolences
Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of Elfriede, we realize that we are blessed to have been able to share in her life before she went to eternal salvation. She was a Woman of strength and exemplary deeds. We will forever treasure her memory in our hearts.
To all her Family
Our sincerest Sympathy.
A fond memory: I recall on many occasions trying to phone my mom, only to receive and hear a busy signal. After hours of trying to telephone with failed attempts, the phone finally rang. When I asked, "who were you talking with?", my mom replied "Sister Prain" and my mom would add, they spoke of gardens and of flowers.
Even though her own health was taking a toll on her, her thoughtfulness extended to others.
With the grace of our Heavenly Father, Sister Prain lived a blessed life.
Farewell for now . . .
Susan
Elfriede Prain passing was a sad day. We will miss her.
So nice to know and spend time with her.
Elfriede is a generous person. She always had time to talk to people.
She had really had a rich life. She had enjoyed life to the fullest.
So gentle, and kind. Always thinking the best of people.
Being in the Bonavista area, she had admired the quiet setting, peacefulness, and surrounded by the tall trees in the area.
In her backyard, she had a beautiful garden. Some were flowers, or food to grow and eat. Many hours she had spent on it, it had given her, lots of Peace and Joy.
I remember her talking, the enjoyment of nature trips to outside Calgary, and really enjoying the trip to Kamloops.
Besides her immediate Family, and she had a second family, with the members in the church. Elfriede, was liked and loved by all.
Our condolences,
Love Mike & Family
