Obituary of Germana Angela SINCOVICH

March 28, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Germana Sincovich, beloved wife of Fortunato Sincovich (nee Cotiga) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

Germana was born in Buie, D’Istria, Italy on September 1, 1933.

She married Fortunato in January of 1952. Germana and her family immigrated to Canada in 1957. They were supposed to immigrate to Montreal. Instead they were re-routed to Picture Butte, Alberta. After living in Lethbridge, they moved to Calgary. 

Germana had a passion for gardening and growing flowers.

She will be greatly missed by her two Sons, Luciano (Margaret) and George (Laura), her three Grandchildren, Trevor (Stacey), Tracey, and Rebecca as well as one Great-Grandchild, Ashley - Calgary. She will also be missed by many other families and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fortunato Sincovich - Calgary, her brother Aurelio - Montreal and her sister Maria Melon - Italy.
