Obituary of Kenneth (Ken) Gerald BUDD

February 7, 1937 – Moncton, New Brunswick
June 26, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Kenneth Budd of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 83 years.

Ken was born in Moncton, NB, on February 7, 1937. After being raised in Moncton, Ken moved to Calgary, AB, in 1957. Ken worked with Alberta Government Telephones (AGT) from 1957 until the time he retired in 1991. He married Dianne Lynne Johnson in 1960 and together raised their three children. 

Ken was an avid hunter, he enjoyed quading, snowmobiling, camping, fishing and all outdoors activities. He was an excellent gardener that grew his own flowers from seed and people from all over Calgary drove by his home to enjoy them.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his three children, Keri Lee Budd of Calgary, AB, Blair Budd and Brenda Burns of Calgary, AB, Scott Budd and daughter-in-law Laurie Budd of Elkford, BC; four grandchildren, Greg Budd, Kenny Budd, Tylor Otte, Devon Otte; his two sisters, Helen Bowser of Moncton, NB, and Cookie Miles of Moncton, NB. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law Darilyne Goett and brother-in-law Garry Goett of Las Vegas, NV. 

Ken was predeceased by his wife Dianne Lynne Budd (nee Johnson); parents, Kenneth and Lila Budd and brothers Leonard Budd, and Peter Budd.
