Doug and all who loved Gord, I offer my condolences and prayers. Given my age and the fact I have not seen Gord for decades my memories of him are somewhat dim. However, the intensity of his energy and his underlying kindness have been a lasting blessing. I, too, am thankful for his life and his presence in mine. Butch
I remember your Dad fondly as a young girl and then as a young lawyer, working with my Dad, Larry Purdy, in his practice. Sending you our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Caroline Purdy-Bracko
Dear Linda, Brian, and Jim.
We send you our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father. He was a wonderful man and our family have more memories than would fill the Herald pages. Mainly, the fabulous adventures our families shared for years are all very special to us. Our children all grew up together while skiing at Panorama, BC and remain good friends to this day.
God bless you Linda, Brian and Jim and “Rest in Peace Gordon “

I am so sad to learn that Gord has died. I know Gord from our Aquafit classes at the Glencoe Club. We have been spending time together three times a week for many years.
We all had fun in that class but our best times were in the coffee shop afterwards. He had a great sense of humour and we enjoyed some good laughs together.
I will truly miss him and his sweet smile.
My sympathies to Jimmy and family.
Remember the good times and hold your Dad in your hearts!

We went south for the winters with Gord and Deanne for many, many years. We enjoyed lively golf games and card games.
Gord was one of Jim's favorite customers in their working years. Our condolences to Linda, Brian and Jim.
Sending our Sympathies to your family in this sad time. We worked with Gordon (Gord) for many years in the electrical Industry. He was a great Gentleman as well as Honest and a lovely" Gentle Man" to work with and be around.
WE send our Blessings to you all and wish all the good memories that you have fill your hearts over the days to come.
