Condolences
Klipper was a great Guy and Leader, He was a good Friend during our time at Agat, my condolences to the Family
I was very sad to learn of the passing of a good friend Richard Klippenstein who was taken from us far too early. My acquaintance with Richard was mainly through the CSPG Golf Tournament of which he was an ardent supporter as a participant and sponsor. For many years Richard was able to supply the bases for the keeper trophies for the flight winners. I will be thinking of him every June when the CSPG Classic is being held. Richard recruited his friends and coworkers to the Tournament and we owe him a huge vote of thanks for being one of its strongest ambassadors. Rest In Peace you deserve it.
I met Richard in 1993 and worked with him up until 1999 at AGAT, I worked on a few Core projects with him, very sad to hear this news, he was a Professional and Leader, a true Friend in everyway and I know he will be deeply missed, we played Hockey together on Team AGAT, he was on my line, the laughs we had were many, and our Golf swings needed work, lol. RIP Richard, say hello to Johnny Mo for me ..I remember being at John's funeral together with the Original team, and that song "I hope you had the time of your life" that will always take me back to that memory, my deepest sympathies to the Family and Friends..
I’ve known Richard for most of my career, and he was truly one of the great guys in our industry. Richard and I shared victory in the CSPG Classic Golf Tournament, as well as competing against each other in earlier times. I’m going to miss his companionship on and off the Golf course. We have lost a rock on which we could always rely.
As one of his many Industry contacts who would like to think of him as a friend - Richard has always been 'one of the good guys'. Very knowledgeable and accommodating; no matter what time of day of night you managed to bug him. Family and friends - please know he was very appreciated and will be missed. BT
I first met Richard back in 2003 when I began working for AGAT Laboratories. I was all of 24 years old and a geologist trying to make my way in the OIl & Gas Service Industry. Richard, was instrumental in my career. He mentored me to love our service sector and everything associated with it. He loved the people, the relationships, the rocks and of course the golf. He mentored me throughout my time at AGAT and even during the time when I had left AGAT, I would run into him and he would always renew my love of our industry. Richard was one of the main reasons that I rejoined the AGAT team again in 2020. I was so happy to be able to partner up with him again. We did manage a couple of rounds of golf before his passing in my short time back with the company.
I will miss Richard's laugh and smile, his exuberance for his job and the way he always made everyone around him smile. My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and all of Richard's family. Our world is a little less great without him in it.
Here is a photo of Richard at one of the many Stampede events we attended together.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Debbie and the entire Klippenstein family. I first met Richard in 2006 when I began at AGAT. He immediately made an impact on me as his passion for his family, loved ones and job exuded in everything that he did. Throughout my years at AGAT Richard provided me with support, mentorship and guidance as I learned from his years of experience and in depth knowledge of the industry. He held with him an unrivaled patience, allowing him to spend time sharing with others much of what he knew. Richard's passing is a loss that will be felt by so many. His legacy will never be forgotten. All of our prayers are now with his family whom he held so dear.
Debbie, Clara and Richards family and friends, Lois & me offer our heartfelt condolences. Lois & Dennie McIvor

My sincere condolences to Richard’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I worked with Richard from 2013 until I retired in February of 2020 but knew him prior to through industry events and socials. I always found Richard to be a very genuine individual. He was extremely kind, honest, dedicated and loyal to his friends and colleagues. As a competitor, he was tough to compete with as his reputation was impeccable through-out the industry. Working with him, I can see why. His dedication, commitment and respect earned a level of trust that is very rare these days.
I enjoyed many rounds of golf with Richard. Richard loved the game and it was a pleasure to be on the course with him. Lots of good laughs and great memories that I will always treasure.
Rest in peace my friend.

Having spent many laughs and good times with Richard through the years his passing has put a big hole in my heart. It makes me smile when I think of the days on the farm and how he would try his damndest to impress his brother Pat .Having to face Pat’s wrath all too often Richard would continue his day without complaint. A few beers on a hot Manitoba day also helped. Whether it was living together in Winnipeg, visits to Calgary or Deb and Richard visiting back in Winnipeg we always renewed the friendship that we had. We’ve all lost a true friend and a beautiful human being. RIP my dear friend.
We met Richard when he started dating Debbie! We were all so happy to have him join the Lapointe family! You would never meet such a nice guy as Richard! A true genuine, gentleman & kind sole! We were fortunate to have him visit us in Manitoba a few times! He played golf, we enjoyed some backyard fires, music & lots of laughs! We are going to miss you sooo much “my Richie” but I know you will be smiling down on us always! Our deepest condolences to our cousins Debbie, Mike, Craig, Rob & Krista & the kids! We are sending you all our love! Jojo & Geoff
Went to school with Richie, or “Flip”, from k-12. Played hockey, baseball, etc. with him all those years.
Simply put, he was one of the really good guys all the years I knew him. RIP, “Flip”, see ya again one day!

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family
Richard was so special to me, we worked together for a very long time that made us part of the family, and he also had a tremendous impact on all of us who worked with him.
I was lucky enough and enjoyed working with him.
His integrity, passion, personality; warmth, and smile brought life to the workplace each and every day.
He would always remind us to review and check things again until we get the real answers.
I will miss him dearly for his true Professionalism, for his guidance and mentorship that he brought to the workplace.
He will always be in our hearts, memories and our prayers.
Once again from our Hirji family we extend our sympathy to Richard’s family and pray that his soul may rest in eternal peace.
