Obituary of Audrey Ethel WESTON (nee Tucker)

April 10, 1929 – Toronto, Ontario
December 1, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Audrey Ethel Weston, beloved wife of the late Murray Weston, of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

Born in Toronto, Audrey moved to Calgary before marrying her sweetheart Murray in 1956.

Audrey worked for the City of Calgary in the tax department for a number of years and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren and was excited to meet her first great-grandchild. 

Audrey was very creative and enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and gardening and was especially proud of her fine collection of African Violets. 

She enjoyed the trips she went on, especially to Hawaii, and loved the Shuswap lake area where she and her family vacationed for years. 

Audrey is survived by her son Brian (Shelley) Weston of Calgary, daughter Tricia Lynne Hay (John Larson) of Perth Australia; her grandchildren Ashley (Kyle) Mendritzki, Christopher (Jodie) Weston, Eric Hay and Kelly Hay; and great-grandson Benny Mendritzki. She is also survived by her sister Marjory (Rod) Fauvel and their family, also of Calgary. Audrey was predeceased by her brother Walter and sister Winnie.

There will not be a service at this time, however, for those wishing to express their condolences, in lieu of flowers or donations, we would simply ask that you make an extra effort to reach out to a loved one and support them in your own way during this difficult time.
