Obituary of Marjorie Agnes CHUTSKOFF

Marjorie Chutskoff, beloved wife of the late John Chutskoff of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 89 years.

Marjorie was a loving and caring stay at home mom, always nurturing to her family and husband. She was well known and respected for her many years of volunteer service to Girl Guides of Canada, including being Senior Camp Advisor for Alberta. She will also be remembered for her love of nature, birdwatching, and the beautiful outdoors – Spending many memorable times fishing, camping, and travelling in the RV with husband John, her children, and numerous friends. 

Marjorie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Greg, Jo-Anne and Don, and Sandra and Dan; grandchildren, David, Anna, Stephen, Sarah, Robert and James; eight great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thank you to niece Audrey for her kindness and consideration throughout many years. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband John of sixty-eight years, parents, Niah and Beatrice Brodie, and siblings Muriel Hearonemus (Henry) and Donald Brodie (Betty). 

A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date at the Liberal Church in Stettler, AB. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here. Also thank you to daughter Sandra (Dan) for your endless hours of loving care and support over many years. It is very much appreciated.
