Velva Faye Twoyoungmen was called home by our Creator on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the age of 57 years.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ena, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, sister-in-law, and friend, after loosing her battle with cancer.
Mom was born in Canmore, AB, on October 13, 1963. She was the youngest daughter of her late father Lawrence and mother Marjorie Twoyoungmen. Mom will be remembered for her tremendous love and devotion to her children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Mom believed her Yethka Tradition, such as making dry meat, beadwork, ceremonies, and camping. Mom was talented in arts and crafts. Mom was a Yethka Weya, and an active and outgoing person. Back in the 1980s she traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, California. Mom received her education at Morley Residential School. She was employed in many various roles, such as housekeeping, store clerk, custodian, health care aide. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest with love.
She will be remembered by her children, Faline (Byron), Lorne (Tallisa), Beth, Silas (Shawna), Dreko and her youngest baby Anya; her fifteen grandchildren; her nephews Chris and Kenzie; her siblings, Julene, Teddybear (Jan), Myers; mother Marjorie. Mom also adopted her son-in-law Byron as a son, and Minta Chantel as a daughter. She will also be remembered by her beloved pets Moody and Pepper; and numerous other relatives. We apologize if we have missed anyone.
She was predeceased by her father Lawrence Twoyoungmen; her son Evan Franklin; brothers, Faron, and Emery; sister Rona; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morley Twoyoungmen; adopted daughter Vanity Twoyoungmen; and niece Roanna and nephews J.C and Brian.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Marjorie Twoyoungmen (Morley, AB) on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at the Residence of Marjorie Twoyoungmen (Morley, AB) on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
