Condolences
Karen and I send our deepest condolences to Jerol and the entire Shier family. I knew Murray my entire life and always thought of him as a second father (with a prettier golf swing than Shep's). My Dad always told me, "swing like Murray, not like me". Good advice indeed. Murray had a long, well lived life and will be welcomed by all his buddies at the big golf club in the sky.

Heartfelt condolences to the Shier family on the passing of Murray who lived a great solid life attributed to his wealth of personal and business accomplishments. To highlight I likely never would have really known his character had it not been for witnessing Murray striding down Elbow Drive everyday of the week. May our thoughts be with you, Ian & Lisa Thomson
My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the Shier Family on the loss of Murray.. I cherish the many years that I worked for and with Murray at ( Stanolind, Pan American and Amoco ), in Calgary and Regina.
I have missed our post Amoco Old Timers luncheons and our get togethers at Tim Hortons. Murray was a true friend and always a gentleman. God bless the family at this time..

Condolences on the loss of Murray. He and I worked many years together at Amoco Canada--fellow Saskatchewanites. He was a very huge contributor to the Oil patch, an excellent leader, a fine Gentleman and a good friend. Sorry to have lost touch over the last several years. Sincere sympathies---Daryl Birnie
