Obituary of Eugenia Nadia Brandelli (nee Tomashewsky)
June 13, 1931 - Mundare, Alberta
October 6, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta
“When the threads that tether us to this world break, hearts do too”
Eugenia (Jean) Brandelli of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and continuing to trust in her Lord, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Born to pioneering parents, Joseph and Pauline Tomashewsky (nee Dehid) of Mundare, AB on June 13, 1931; our loving and caring mother accomplished a lifetime of dreams and was always such a positive, gracious and kind person.
Mom sadly left behind her two sons and daughters-in-law, and best friends, Carlo (Jill), and Elio (Jacqueline); her adored granddaughters, Christa, Larissa (Steven), and Yvonne (Sim); and great-grandsons, JC, Declan, Liam, Payton, Riley and Ryker; Mom referred to all her grandchildren as her “Living flowers in Gramma’s garden of life, and precious gems to brighten others”. Mom also leaves behind a special niece Vivian, and many other nieces, nephews as well as good friends, Karen, Lynda and Barb. Jeanie was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Adelmo.
Special thanks to the staff of Joy West at St. Theresa’s. The care and love you showed Mom was always noticed. She appreciated you all so much as does her family.
In fond farewell we send our loved mother and grandmother “Baba” back to Our Father.
“Veechnayia Pamiat!” – May God rest her soul in peace!
