Ka-soo-kay-wask-a-weet-napew

It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the sudden passing of my son, a brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. William passed away at the young age of 44.

William was a Calgarian born at the Calgary General Hospital. He attended Mount Royal University to study business. William was a great athlete all his life, he started playing little league and advanced to AAA hockey, here in Calgary. His greatest love and achievement was coaching and instructing high-performance tennis players at the Calgary Tennis Academy and the Calgary Tennis Club. He often spoke of the countless hours he spent hitting on the backboard, honing his skills. He also had a great love of music and was known in Calgary as a drummer for the band “Mayfly”. One of his favourite bands was U2.

William is survived by his mother Donalda Blondeau (Chris), father William Guiboche (Laura), sisters, Ashley, and Nikki Hotomanie; and nephews, Jyden, Riley, Kolby, and Matteo Hotomanie. Special friends, Deirdre Jenkins, Mark MacConnell, and Steve Kirk. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. William was predeceased by his grandmother Elizabeth Hotomanie, and two uncles, Randal Jack, and Faron Lon Hotomanie.

The family would like to thank all his friends for assisting in our time of need.  You were amazing friends and he loved you all! Special thanks to my daughters, Ashley, and Nikki. The family apologizes if we missed anyone.
