It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Greta Ylosorio Baptiste, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted Christian, who departed from this earthly life on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Though she has left us, her memory and the legacy of her unwavering faith will forever be etched in our hearts.
Born on September 18, 1932, Greta Ylosorio Baptiste lived a life guided by the principles of love, compassion, and faith. From an early age, she embraced Christianity, and her journey as a believer shaped her into the remarkable person, we all had the privilege to know and love.
A beacon of light in the community, she was always there to lend a helping hand, extend a warm embrace, and offer heartfelt prayers to those in need. Her selflessness knew no bounds, touching the lives of countless individuals with her acts of kindness and generosity.
Throughout her life, she exemplified the teachings of Jesus Christ in her daily actions. Her unwavering trust in God's plan and her ability to find solace in prayer during both joyous and challenging times was an inspiration to everyone around her. Her faith was not merely an aspect of her life; it was the very core of her being, providing her with the strength and resilience to overcome life's trials with grace and dignity.

Visitation to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot Chapel, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Graveside Service will be held at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Rd, Rocky View No. 44, AB) Friday, July 21, 2023, at 12:45 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
