Condolences
We only had the pleasure of meeting Marion once or twice during our first visit to Calgary to visit Cam and Debbie. Debbie has been my childhood bestfriend for over 40 years.. but at the time of our first visit to Calgary in 1994 i had only met Marion once before at cam and debbies wedding in Montreal. we visited calgary from montreal that first time in 1994 and we were invited to a family dinner at her home… she could not have been more gracious and welcoming to us. She invited us into their home like family and we had a very lovely dinner with the family who all made us feel very welcome! (i only eat aspersgus today because i enjoyed it so much at her house!!) she made us a lovely dinner (she was a great cook!) and we felt so very welcome. I honestly didn’t know her well personally but i can only say that she raised a wonderful family…Cam is one of our closest friends for more than 30 plus years and we could not be more blessed to have his friendship. as a mother myself , i wish part of my legacy that i want to be remembered for is my family.. Marion raised a wonderful family. Our heart goes out to our dearest friend Cam who is family to us , as well as all the rest of the family.. our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time….especially today as you say goodbye…sincerest condolences to all of Marion’s family.. to our dearest friends Cam, Debbie, and Sam (Christof).. . Love from all of us… todd, barb, brendan, kevin, nicole and daisy… sending much love….❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have so many good memories of times spent with Marion playing cards, water fights with the neighbours, doing hair, shopping and canning to name a few. One of my favourites was shopping at Sunridge Mall and having New York fries and jalapeños for lunch. Marion was a great hostess and cook, enjoyed many wonderful meals at their home.
I will miss her.
Love,
Marilyn
Some of my earliest memories are with Marion and Jerry; they were our neighbors in Edmon Heights when I was only a few years old. From that time on they were family to us, spending almost every holiday and weekend together for many years, whether it was working on DIY projects, or just hanging out enjoying a BBQ. I remember we would go camping at Carseland together, where there were many adventures floating inner tubes down the river or playing baseball in the old corral. We had so much fun together, and I will always remember Marion’s great smile.

I remember the the first time I met Marion, Dan brought me to the house where they lived in Marbough to meet her for the first time. I can remember thinking what a lovely lady and she has a really really clean house!! You will be missed.
Love Brenda
