Condolences
Bev and Jack were my neighbours for almost 8 years. Bev always was in great spirits and had a positive attitude. She always stopped to say hello and chat for a while. I truly admired her for zest to get out and enjoy the sunshine, tend to her flowers and go on long walks around Hawkwood. She had a beautiful smile and always gave great advice. Jack and family, our hearts and prayers are with you all. Bev will be deeply missed ❤️ Tanis, Brett and Abby Ursulak
Some 76 odd years ago I bet Jack $ 5.00 their puppy love would not last. Sweetest bet I ever lost as that puppy love flourished into a storybook love story and marriage. My heart goes out to you. z
Bev was such a wonderful, welcoming and warm person. I always felt her love, in any interaction I had with her. I am thinking of her legacy and the memories that she left us all with, with her memorial service coming up. My condolences to you all, as you pause to reflect on the love and support she shared with everyone she came into contact with.
I’m so sorry for the loss of exquisite Bev in our world.
I had the privilege of working with Bev at the Calgary Family Service Bureau; she was the Director and I was a new hire.
Bev was a true mentor, leader and source of inspiration.
I admired her competence, her big heart for people; those she served, worked with and her loved ones. I also admired Bev’s eye for beauty, great personal style, her ready laughter and sense of wonder. She was a beautiful human being!!
My sincere sympathy to Bev’s family.
Dear Jack and Family,
I’m very sorry to hear of Bev’s passing.
I met “Tom’s Mom” for the first time over four decades ago as a teenager and I still remember it. She was friendly and welcoming with a no nonsense undertone – I liked and respected her immediately.
My favourite memory of Bev is the first Ellefson Christmas party I attended. She met us as at the door with an Edmonton Journal Christmas Carol insert and told us the rules: Rule 1 - Eat lots; and Rule 2 - Sing Christmas carols with her and ... Sing Loud! I ate lots and sang loud (... and badly). It was a fabulous evening.
My condolences for your loss. The world is a much better place for Bev being in it.

Dear Jack and family,
On behalf of the Morgan Family, I would like to express my condolences on the loss of your wife/mother. My greatest memory comes from the time we all travelled by car to Disneyland at Christmas time. It was a wonderful vacation for us all. I know my Dad would want me to send you his best regards as he always thought very highly of your advice and friendship. My dear mother left us this past Christmas but I know she would want me to say she was sorry as well.
We are thinking of you as you find a new normal in finding a life without your loved one.

I have such fond memories of Bev- Bev fiercely loved her family and delighted in all of the generations and she was also a tremendously intelligent and lively individual. I will always remember her hearty laughter and the ever present intelligence in her eyes. Bev was and is a shining light. Wishing Bev peace and her family wonderful memories. Lot's of love, Mona
Bev was a very dear friend. We always enjoyed getting together for Lunchbox Theatre, followed by lunch at the Palliser. Silver Springs Golf Club was another favorite place to meet, laugh and share stories. Bev is truly missed but I am thankful for the fond memories of the times we shared. Ann Haessel
