My condolences to Sandra, Lorne and family. I’m sorry we could not be at the Memorial service for your daughter Laura. We did not know Laura, but Sandra and Lorne have been good friends of ours for many years. Through them, we heard many times how Laura fought courageously before and after her lung transplant. She is now at rest. I’m sure her Celebration of Life will be a beautiful service. Our thoughts are with you.

There are no words to adequately express the loss of this beautiful young woman. Through the love & pride of her family, I have learned of Laura’s love & strength. May that same strength carry you through these difficult times.

Lorne, I know you worked with my husband, Glenn at TELUS for many years and Glenn considered you a good friend. He would have been very sad to hear this news. We recall sitting on your front porch in the summer when Laura was a young baby and rocking her to sleep. Laura was always a delightful and smart little girl. My deepest heartfelt condolences to the Boyechko family and Cam on the passing of Laura. Looking back, I have so many fond memories with Laura and Christine as kids when we would dance together, play games, and watch movies. Laura was always full of so much joy, fun, wit, laughter, creativity, intelligence, and kindness.
