Mily Armando,
Prijmi nasi uprimnou soustrast v Tvem hlubokem zarmutku.
We are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your loved Sonia.
It was our great pleasure meeting you and Sonia during our last trip to Canada and enjoying your wonderful hospitality and Sonia's delicious cooking.
May happy memories of her bring you comfort in such sad and difficult time.
We are thinking of you and sending our love,
Josef a Mila Zenozickovi (Sumperk, Czech Republic)
Dearest Sonia,
Although we only met and became friends over the last couple years, our friendship has meant so much to me. I am heartbroken that we no longer have the wonderful Sunday evening visits and that you will no longer be waving from the window when I come and go. You and Armando are the kindest neighbours.
Close to my heart I will hold the way you remembered every detail of my life, your delicious snacks and the many tiny glasses of delicious wine we sipped as we learned more about one another. I will even miss our many snow shovelling days and the car rides to and from the hospital when we worried about Armando.
The way that you always cared for everyone around you, your unselfishness in every way and the way our dog Ted loved you, will never be forgotten. Your kindness will forever be with me.
May you rest in peace and always know the love we all have for you.
Love always, Karrie

Dear family,
It is with great sadness that we’ve heard of the passing of zia Sonia.
We all remember zia Sonia for her happy spirit and laughter each time we met. For us she was a representation of the warm, kind and funny demeanour Canadians are so well known for.
She forever has a place in our hearts and memories.
We hope that our sincere condolences can be felt across the ocean to support you and your families in your grief in these hard times and in challenging days to come. You have our thoughts and deepest love.
May the happy and warm memories you have of her one day outshine the heartache.
Giovanna, Willy and family
We got to know Sonia and Armando many years ago. They lived a couple of houses down from where I grew up. My husband Chris and Armando would get together, have a good chat and became very good friends. Quite often the chats were accompanied by glasses of wine and food that Sonia would always bring out, even if you said you weren't hungry. Sonia had infinite patience and was a wonderful person with a heart full of love. You will be missed tremendously. We love you always. Angie and Chris ❤
I haven’t seen Aunty Sonia in a number of years but whenever her brother George and wife Gloria were here visiting their daughter (me) from Winnipeg, she would have us over for a nice meal and bottle of wine. She was a very good cook; hospitable and generous. I remember seeing a copy of the ‘Carillon News’ which was a paper from rural Manitoba. Even though it had been decades since she had been back- I guess a part of her was always connected to her small town roots. I thought that was very sweet and touching.
Miss you Aunty.
Debra Lohr (niece).
