Obituary of Alistair John Sim

October 21, 1955 - Aberdeen, Scotland

September 9, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

After a life filled with family and so much love, The Sim Clan is saddened to announce the passing of Alistair John Sim on September 9, 2023. Alistair was the most kind-hearted and thoughtful family man, a true gentleman.

Alistair will be greatly missed by the love of his life and best friend Charlene, his three girls, Jennifer (Ben), Brittney (Paul), and Rachel (Erik); and all his Grandbabies, Paisley, Elliott, William, James, Leif, and Simon; as well as his brother Gordon (Jo-Anne).

Our family would like to express our gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their care and kindness during Alistair’s brief illness. We are immensely grateful for the outstanding team at the Rosedale Hospice for their compassion and warmth during his final days.

As per Alistair’s wishes, there will be a small celebration of life in the upcoming weeks. In his memory, please consider donating to the Rosedale Hospice.
