I met two career mentors when I was 15 in 1976 at the National Film Board of Canada. Bill Campbell, gifted Film Editor (1946-2005) and the wonderful crazy genius ANDY. Without their guidance and encouragement making my first films, I’m certain I would be in some other business long ago. Andy was an incredible support and tireless friend in those early years when it really mattered.

I worked with Andrew back in the 80’s. He was very supportive to his fellow film makers and shared his knowledge willingly. I would say he was one of the pioneers of Calgarys film industry. My condolences to his family and friends. Micharl Kevis
