Condolences
Aunty Linda, AKA GAL, AKA Chickenhawk-
I will miss you so much. I have so many special memories of you I don't know where to start. As a child going up the stairs from Grandma's house to yours when you got home from work was always a special treat . On birthdays and Christmas you always gave the most special gifts - the beautiful, strange, and wonderful. I could tell you anything at all. Your laugh was infectious and you made old ladies and young children adore you in minutes. I'll think of you every time I see a tree frog (real or otherwise...), a flock of pelicans, a perfect frangipani, or a particularly aggressive prawn!
I'll meet you on Coogee beach for a beautiful sunrise ❤ love you Aunty Linda xoxoxo
My dear sweet Linda, you have been and will always be one of my favorite people. You made me feel so welcome to the family when I was a scared little girl from the states. You had the biggest heart and best smile of anyone I knew. I can picture you and my mom partying it up in heaven with Betty. Save us all a seat! Love from your wee Bonnie
Linda was the only Aunt I grew up around. I am blessed to have had her in my life for my 36 years. She always treated me with kindness, love, and generosity. She loved my wife and two kids very much and we will all miss her very much. I'll always remember her personality, she was such a small person, but had a certain confidence and feisty attitude that only she could pull off. I will miss her as life goes on but am grateful for the time I had with her. She will live on in our memories, and on to everlasting life. May she rest in peace through the mercy of God.
I was so happy to reconnect with my beautiful cousin in 1998 during a family reunion. We have kept in touch through Facebook for many years now. Her messages always made me smile. She always had a positive outlook even through all her hard times. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Heaven has gained a very special angel. I will miss Linda so much. Sending Love and Hugs to the whole family. Cindy (Young) & Jim Brunke
Linda was so thoughtful and kind. We’d get together for coffee and a big hug when Linda was up to it. I had my mom knit her a soft blanket for her to curl up in. Linda told me all the time how much she loved it. Linda had poor health but she never complained about herself and always thought of others. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Linda and her family.
