I just learned of Pati’s passing. So sorry for this terrible loss. The impact is shared by so many. Pati was a warm, wonderful human being who always brought great optimism to every situation. I will always have fond memories of her and wish you many more.

I was so saddened to hear of Pati's passing. Rob, Mack and the rest of Pati's family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Although I hadn't kept in touch with Pati over the years, I can still hear her laugh. It was great working alongside her at the Children's Village for all those years. I always appreciated her honest and forthright views which she wasn't afraid to share. She was generous with her time and energy and always willing to help me or others with whatever we needed. I remember her talking fondly of Naramata and I just figured that some day I'd run into her there. The next time I'm there though, I'll be sure to tip a glass in her honor. Here's to you Pati!
My deep condolences to Rob and Mack. Pati was the best next-door neighbour one could ever have the honour to live beside -- she will be remembered fondly
There are no words to describe the vibrant jokester that Pati was. Kind and loving as much as she was fiercely protective of those she loved and what she believed in. Goodbye Pati. See you on the other side.
Rest In Peace Pati ♥️. I was truly blessed to have known you and been able to work along side you at the Village. You always had so much patience for the kiddos we worked with and always had something special they could choose from downstairs, for one of our many wild and wacky b-mod programs. I was blessed to call you a friend and it’s so sad you were taken so early. You will be missed my friend; ♥️Thank you for everything you gave of yourself to others. God Bless. Sincerest condolences to the family.♥️
My sincerest condolences to Rob and Mack and to everyone who were closest to Pati. Like many on here I had the great joy of working alongside Pati at the Children’s Village. Pati’s office was often my refuge when I needed a quick break. Every day when you would ask Pati how she was she would respond “a beauty and a joy”.
You will be missed sweet lady!
Our thoughts are with Rob and Mack and the rest of Pati's family during this time of loss and grieving . I shared many years of working along side Pati at the Children's Village and maintained contact over the years after we both left the Village.
The things I remember most about Pati are positivity and her commitment to the work especially with the indigenous population. She made a positive impact on many kids and families. What a privledge to have known her as a colleague and a friend.
I’ve stayed in touch with Pati through the 20 years since my family left Calgary. We worked together for many years at the Salvation Army Children’s Village, our boys shared a day home, she was a mentor and a friend. When I’d visit Calgary we’d grab a coffee and catch up like no time had gone by….our conversations always centered around the challenges and successes of our boys! I’m so sad that she’s gone, but so happy we had time for each other. Mack and Rob, my sincerest condolences. May you find peace, laughter and comfort in your memories. ❤️
My sincere condolences to Pati's family; and to Rob and Mac - she was so proud of both of you - although we've never met, those of us at the Children's Village heard about you often as she spoke with such love and admiration of you both. Pati was a cornerstone at the Children's Village; a clear minded, hard working, and practical woman who advocated strongly for the kids and families we served, as well as for her colleagues. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy in so many ways with the lives she touched. Her passing is a huge loss. She meant so much to so many people.
Pati first came on the scene at the Salvation Army Children's Village many years ago as a practicum student. It was clear immediately that she had a gift with children. I recall her sitting on the ground instead of chasing a child that wanted to run away, she winked and said, "He will come back in his own time" and sure enough he returned immediately after seeing he was not in trouble and had someone calmly waiting for him. She carried this compassion on throughout her career and carried herself with humor, insight and a true love for her friends, co workers, students and most importantly for her son Mack who she was extremely proud of, husband Rob and the rest of her family. Pati was always welcoming and thoughtful to those she met, she truly is an angel who has left some space for others to take over and carry on her compassion for others.
Miss you already
