Obituary of Clark Douglas Schuler
June 14, 1973 – July 27, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Clark Douglas Schuler announce his passing on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He is survived by his daughter Charley, his parents, Shirley and Stan Schuler; his sister Allyson (and her son Cole); as well as his brother Wade (and his wife Anita and children, Sydney and Nolan).
Clark grew up on a farm on the Alberta-Saskatchewan border. He attended school in Richmond, SK, and from a young age loved all sports, especially baseball, hockey, and volleyball. This love of sports led him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and a passion for coaching baseball.
His life and career took him down many paths, where he touched the lives of many people. His easy smile, quick wit, and playful personality will be greatly missed by his close friends and family. To honour Clark’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. We invite you to please celebrate Clark’s life in your own way. We believe his legacy of kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Clark's family here.
In living memory of Clark Schuler, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB T2S 2L5, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
