Condolences
The Catleys lived next door to we MacKenzies for fifty years in St. Andrew's Heights in Calgary so Ive known them simce I was a boy. Colin & Doreen were great neighbours. Colin even paid me to work on a special project at Tuuxedo Credit Union while I was a student at The University of Calgary. His stories about the RCAF inspired me. He was so interesting and encouraging..My condolences to Colleen Jim Elaine & Mike and their families. Colin was so proud of you all.
I have many fond memories of time spent with Colin, Doreen, and their family. Gail and I were particularly happy to be able to visit Colin in 2017 in his condo with our two older grandchildren. Colin was a wonderful person, and will be sorely missed.
Colin was a true gentleman. He was a wonderful person, father, husband, and neighbour. So lucky to have known him, Doreen and the four kids who I literally grew up with. He was one of a kind! My sympathy to the family, Susan (MacKenzie) Wittrup
We send our deepest sympathies to all of Colin's family. We first met Colin when I joined the Aircrew Association when it was having its weekly lunch at Mewata Armoury every Thursday. He was an absolute delight to have at our table and regale all with his crazy stories. My wife and I will miss him as we have missed Doreen when she passed.
Norm and Betty Lee, Cochrane.
Our deepest condolences to all of Colin’s family.
We met Colin when we moved into Grande Ave.Village in Cochrane.
He was such a gentleman & so interesting to talk to. He always had a story to tell as he had led such an interesting
life. He was a very kind & caring person.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Joyce & Bob Hipkin
I met “Mr. Catley” about 1972 when Elaine and I became friends. I remember him as a devoted husband , and as a kind and friendly Dad. Thinking of you all .
My deepest condolences to the Catley family. I knew him through the Air Crew Association and his dedication to that group of people. He will be missed.
