Condolences
I’ll never forget going to Uncle Ray’s shop for haircuts.
He always had the biggest smile on his face every single time I saw him.
He was very gentle and kind.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
I will miss uncle ray very much. I have had many haircuts by him he was the only person to cut my hair as a child and youth and adult. I also would bring my two sons for haircuts at uncle rays barbershop.
Christmas Eve will never be the same not going to uncle rays for Chinese food.
Uncle ray you were truely a great person and extremely loved by your family and by your church. Enjoy your eternal life with odette and grandma and grandpa Vasseur. We love you uncle ray

Sending condolences to Rod, Jen, Will and Rhett, the Vasseur family and friends. So very sorry to hear of Raymond’s passing. Sending you much love as you heal.
David, Chantelle, and I used to go see uncle Raymond for haircuts. We would visit and then go to the My Favorite Icecream Shoppe. They loved having haircuts! Uncle Raymond was a loyal husband to Odette and spent most of his time with her during her long illness; he never left her side for very long. He is the example of a steady rock throughout his life. We will miss you, Uncle Ray.
Growing up on the farm by Three Hills AB, we had to make up our own entertainment. Tobogganing in the winter and we had lots of snow in those days. One time, Raymond and Les tore apart a stack of bales and put it all together hollow inside as a fort. You had to crawl on your hands and knees to get in, even the dog would go in. Raymond never ever ever wanted to be a farmer. previous to moving to Calgary in 1963, he had bought himself a car. back then can you imagine a farm kid coming from the country into a city where none of the young fellas had cars, he had a lot of friends then. He also had a lot of integrity. Raymond‘s passion was his children and doing the very best he could to give them a good life. Your siblings are going to miss you, Raymond. We all loved you and now you’re at your real home. Love you, bro.
