Adâ was called home by our Creator on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Adâ is survived by his loving family, his brother Jackson (Brenda) Wesley, his sisters, Madeline Wesley, Gertrude Wesley, and Rebecca Wesley; and his children, Maureen (Elliott), Bernadine (Lyndon), Everitt Jr., Jason, Vince, Clarissa, Kimberly (Jeremy), Thomas, Trylan, and Delora. He is also survived by his grandson whom he raised Little Bear, his grandchildren, the greatest great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives, Lenny (Corrina) Wesley, Clarence (Shirley) Wesley, Claude Lefthand, Una Wesley, Pauline (George) Piche, John Wesley, Juke (Tracey) Wesley, Retha Mark, Felix Beaver, and Vern (Beverly) Hunter; adopted son Phillip (Samantha) Chinquay, adopted brothers, Louie Cardinal, Peter Dion, and Henry Cardinal; adopted sister Hazel Desjarlais, and special brother-in-law Ron Desjarlais “Saddlelake”.

Adâ was predeceased by his parents, Ina Wesley (1981) and Tom Wesley (1977); son, Lyndon (1973), daughter Dorlissa (1986); brother Stewart Wesley (1946), sisters, Mary Jane Twoyoungmen (1997), Ruth Wesley (1998), Bessie Wesley (1983), Natalie Wesley (1955), and Venora Wesley; adopted niece Isabella Dion (2022), adopted brother Michael Wesley, and adopted parents, Billy (2006) and Bella (2008) Dion. His maternal grandmother Becky Cecil, his paternal grandparents, Mary and Moses Wesley; his paternal great-grandparents, Nancy and Peter Wesley (Ta otha); aunts and uncles, Gertrude Hunter, Udel Hunter, Frank and Caroline Powderface, Nora and John Stephens, Gordon Cecil, Pete Wesley, Paul Wesley, Lazurus Wesley, and Guy Wesley; adopted nephews, Stacey Dion “Saddlelake” and Dakota Dion “O’chiese”; numerous cousins, from the Cecil, Wesley, Twoyoungmen, Hunter, Dion, Powderface, and Young families.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Everitt Wesley (Morley, AB) on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
