Condolences
I was lucky to meet Emma at choir. She was smart and funny and down to earth. I always looked forward to break time so we could chat. She felt like a kindred spirit. I will miss her . My deepest sympathies to her family.
Emma was more than a friend to me. Whenever I needed anything in the lab, she was the first person I turned to. We shared the highs and lows of life, from our little gossip sessions to the serious research questions. During John's battle with cancer, Emma was my unwavering support. Even after I left Braun’s lab, life brought us together again at ACHRI, working side by side. When Emma shared her own diagnosis, she showed great strength that touched me. And when John passed away, she was there, driving to my home with the kids with her, offering the comfort only she could give.
Emma, you were a truly remarkable friend and a beautiful soul. My deepest condolences to Seamus, Mary, Sean, Mike, and Mary. You will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will never forget you! Love you all ways .
My deepest condolences to the family . I knew Emma when we both worked in Bill’s lab for many years. She was not only wonderful, smart, and full of energy, but also highly skilled in her work and always eager to help. Beyond work, Emma had a true passion for life. I remember that she loved wine, knitting Christmas gifts for her family, and running marathons. I can still recall her lovely expression as she shared how she had carefully prepared Halloween treats, but was frustrated that only a few children came by because her house wasn't on the main street.
Dear Emma, I miss you. I will always remember you.
Emma was smart, beautiful, and so much fun to spend time with. We were young together and I am grateful for the youthful adventures we shared. Sending my love to her family.
My deep condolences to the family, Emma was such a good colleague, I worked with her for 2 years when She was a technician in Cole's lab... You will be always in our heart Emma !!
My prayerful condolences on the passing over of Emma from death to life. I have been praying for her and all the family. May your faith sustain you and may Emma be received into the loving arms of God. I am sure she will.
Peace and Blessings,Father Earl David Talbot ( Priest that married Angela and Sean Toner 55 years ago)
This is just so heartbreaking! My deepest condolences to the family. It was just like yesterday, Emma and I were partners at the Indigenous games at school and we were just talking about our kids since my son is classmates with Sean. Emma is just so nice and easy to talk to. I still cant believe this. My heart goes out to her family.
With a deep sorrow and sympathy, I express my condolences to Seamus, Mary, Sean and the whole family.
I had the privilege to have Emma working with me as a volunteer in my Library.
For 6 months in a row, Emma came at least once a week and did an amazing job helping me in the Learning Commons Library.
The first day that I met her, we did not shake hands at all. We just look at each other smiling and we shared a big hug. That day we were connected in all aspects.Emma intelligence surpassed my expectations, I never trained her within the Library duties because she knew exactly what to do, she was actually reading my mind even before I was having a new idea.
Lots of conversations about life, family and jokes. Yes...lots of jokes laughing until almost crying of joy. Those 6 months with her were the most amazing moments I have shared with a volunteer in my whole career.
I have to confess that I am deeply affected for this loss because I feel that she was a truly companion and friend.
I love you Emma. Go and fly high with God and become the most beautiful angel for Seamus, Mary and Sean.
