Obituary of Emma Walsh

Emma Joan Walsh, of Calgary, AB, died peacefully in her home, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 47 years.

Emma was born in Winnipeg, MB, on December 2, 1976. She graduated from William Aberhart High School in Calgary and received BA and BSc degrees from the University of Calgary before pursuing a career as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Calgary.

Emma was a truly exceptional person, compassionate, kind, vivacious, inquisitive and unafraid to venture out of her comfort zone. She was dedicated to her two precious children and husband, Seamus.

Besides her loving husband, Seamus Xavier Toner, Emma is survived by her daughter Mary Angela Toner (age 10) and her son Sean Patrick Toner (age 7), her sister Katy Anne Walsh, brother-in-law Barrett Michael Ens, and her parents, Mary Letitia Walsh and Michael Patrick Walsh.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Emma, are invited to a Memorial Service at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
