Obituary of Anne Van Camp

Anne Van Camp, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 96 years.
Anne was born on the farm near Yellow Creek, SK, on June 1, 1928. At the age of seventeen, she moved to Winnipeg and later to Toronto, ON, where she worked for Air Canada for several years. In 1960 she relocated to Calgary where she worked for Burns and Company, and subsequently with Dominion Bridge for 26 years.
Anne married Robert (Bob) Van Camp in 1963, and they lived together in the Killarney community of Calgary until Bob’s passing at the age of 100 in 2018.
Anne is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Taras Borsa, Joseph (Donna) Borsa, Steve Borsa, Nick Borsa, Eugene Borsa, Debbie Borsa, and Iris Borsa; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen (Malcolm) Munro, and Gloria (Lloyd) Kissack; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Bob Van Camp; her parents, Julian and Annie Borsa; brothers, Martin Borsa, Victor Borsa, and Bill Borsa; her sisters, Lena Andre, Marie Schmidt, and Olga Borsa; sisters-in-law, Marie-Anne Borsa and Lynn Borsa; and brother-in-law, Ken Schmidt.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium, 3219- 4th Street N.W., Calgary, AB, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
