My deepest condolences are with Betty and the family at this time. Richard was a friend and an incredible man full of fun and laughter. Nothing can ever replace the joy and love he brought.

My deepest condolences to Aunty Betty, Belinda, Judy, Richard, uncle Marc and uncle Tony. Mere words cannot express the feelings you carry at this time, and my prayers go out to all of you. I have many fond memories of my uncle and our trips together are wonderful memories. He will be deeply missed and fondly thought of. I knew Richard well in the 1970s, when I worked with the Government of the NWT. He was then an inspiring, hard-working young man who was always very pragmatic - serving his community in the most positive of ways. I’ve had no contact for the last 45 years, but I have no doubt that he served his community well. He will be missed.
