I met Rob several times when I was on the board of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, what a great guy with a passion for life!
So sorry to hear of his passing.

We are shocked to hear about Rob’s passing. It’s been a really long time since we have seen either he or Jules but they remain part of our favourite memories. Rob took me to my first branding and fed me beer and helped me scuff up my new boots so I didn’t look so shiny. Rob and Jules travelled with us to Mexico for millennium New Years. He and Todd made quite the impression in their tuxedo vest and shirts, bow ties, golf shorts and sombreros. People stopped by our table all night just to get pictures with the two of them.
Our deepest condolences to all of the family. Todd and Tanya Hagel
It is with great fondness, I recall Rob and his zest for every moment. Our experiences shared in Lakeview during the 80's, sports and school with his genuine lighthearted demeanor, passion and focus for everything, shone through.
My condolences to his Friends and Family. A great loss for them and the entire Village. RIP
Rob had an amazing energy, the room always lit up when he was there. He was one of the kindest, funniest guys I knew. Words cannot ever describe the sympathy I have for Rob's family and all who knew and loved him. He left an amazing legacy.
Rob was truly an OG!!! Always made everyone in a room feel like they were the most important. I will miss you my friend!!!
Rob was in Grade 9 when I started Grade 7 at Bishop Pinkham Junior High, and I thought he was the coolest kid in the entire school. 40 years later, I still have very clear memories of his slapstick comedy with Rory Edgar in school drama productions: they were like Abbott and Costello. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
Rob’s presence was felt the moment he walked into a room. His ability to engage with people directly in such an attentive manner was his unique charm. We just loved that about Rob! From our family to Jules and Family our sincere condolences and heartfelt best wishes to each and every one of you. May you find peace and comfort in the company of friends and loved ones.
Sincerely,
Jerry and Linda Resch
This was a magnificent man that I will miss so unbelievably much. His smile could warm the coldest heart, his energy and vibration was so high and powerful and pure. He was authentically genuine and a true gentleman. We have truly lost one of the good guys ... in fact, one of the Best!
