Condolences
Condolences to All, Cherish the Memories!!! The Moore’s were our Neighbours across the street in Oyen!!! Evelyn(Beauchamp)Mills(Bill) and family!!!
Dearest Sharon, Karla, Kaleb, and all family members. Our deepest condolences are extended to all of you during this very sad time. I first met Wayne in 2002 when Sharon, along with Wayne, opened their home to me when I started studies at the University of Calgary. Wayne and I spent many an evening watching TV and engaging in some pretty interesting conversations. He always made me feel welcome and I was so grateful for his generosity and kindness. He and Sharon visited us in Newfoundland and it was a joy to travel with both Sharon and Wayne. Then in 2020, Wayne and Sharon spent a few months near us in Florida and it was such a pleasure to have them both so near and in our lives as dear friends. Wayne was special in so many ways. He will never be forgotten by all who know and love him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Carla and Dave Wells

Sharon and Family; Alvin and Family; and Dennis,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. Growing up, as much as my family travelled around the country, Dad always made time to go home to Oyen to visit family. I have so many wonderful memories of Wayne from those days. Wayne was truly a wonderful person to be around. I'm so grateful my late husband and I had the opportunity to help celebrate Wayne's 70th birthday with you. At this difficult time, I hope you feel surrounded by love. May the comfort of knowing that so many are thinking of you help to ease your sorrow.
Sincerely,
Cousin Linda Moore
Dear Sharon, Karla, Kaleb and Family,
Grief is the price we pay for great love. Wayne was a loving and authentic husband, father and grandfather and we know his passing is a tremendous loss to all of you. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We have many happy memories of our times together with Wayne and all of you in Texas, as well as at our many visits to your homes in Calgary and Canmore over the years. He always put a smile on our faces as he shared interesting and uplifting stories about all of you. He is at peace now and we hope you always feel his loving spirit with youas he rests in his eternal home. We wish you everything your hearts need to get through this sad time.
With sympathy and affection,

When I was a kid, Wayne was larger than life. He loved kids, I think a part of him never really gree up. He was always loud and boisterous at family gatherings and was as vocal about his turnips as the rest of us kids (maybe more).
I was so grateful that we got to spend an afternoon with him and Sharon this summer on our way through Calgary. My 3 year old daughter, Bethany, was a bit shy of him at first, but quickly warmed up to him. At lunch Wayne noticed that Bethany hadn't touched her hotdog for most of the meal. "You'd better take a bite of that hotdog," he warned her, "or he might get mad and start spraying ketchup and mustard everywhere!" She still laughs about that to this day. I think that was the last time we saw him and I'm so grateful that we stopped in on our way through.
You were one of a kind and we will miss you.
