Condolences
My condolences to you Vera, Fred was one of my bosses at the Calgary Police Service and a true gentlemen. We had many discussions during my time as VP of the Calgary Police Association and although we disagreed from time to time his word was his bond and he always respected my views. He will be truly missed, rest in peace my friend.
I was saddened to see that Fred passed away. We used to curl with Fred and Vera at Springbank some years ago. We enjoyed both of you. Our condolences to Vera and the family.

Mom is so extremely saddened by the loss of her “perfect brother”. Whenever she spoke of Uncle Fred you could feel the love and admiration. We’ll certainly remember his warmth and sense of humour. Our hearts go out to Auntie Vera, Fred, Ron and their families.
I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to have had one last visit with Uncle Fred. We will remember him for his sense of humor and kindness. He has touched our lives and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with you Auntie Vera and your family during this difficult time.

I am saddened to learn of Fred’s passing. He was a man that, to me, embodied all the fine characteristics one would wish for in a father and husband and Policeman. He was a fine gentleman who always greeted you with a lovely smile and often with a little joke. At Police functions he often said Grace before the meal and you knew God was not a stranger to him.
My very sincere sympathy goes out to his wonderful wife, Vera, and his family.
Our condolences go out to you, Vera and
families in the passing of this dear and
wonderful man. Although we did not know
him very well his great personality made
very likeable and felt a need to embrace
him.
Frederick William, Sr. will be sadly
missed and forever remembered.
Our prayers and thoughts will forever be
with you.
