Obituary of WAUGH – Darrin John & Jennifer Margaret

1971 – 2010 Darrin John Waugh and Jennifer Margaret Waugh (nee Remmer) of Calgary passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010, both at the age of 39 years. Darrin was born on July 12, 1971 in Innisfail, Alberta to parents John Waugh and Mary Shanahan. He grew up amongst numerous friends and family in Innisfail, who knew him as ‘Wobbler’. Darrin loved all sports, particularly hockey. His love of road rides on his Harley was something he shared with his Dad and friends; he especially loved riding two-up with Jennifer. Jennifer was born on April 6, 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta to parents Robert Remmer and Diana Remmer. Throughout her life, Jennifer made friends everywhere she went. People were naturally drawn to her sense of humour and fun, her passionate nature, and her generous and loving spirit. Darrin and Jennifer met in Calgary, fell in love and were inseparable from then on. They were passionate about their families and friendships, nature, and the great outdoors. Marrying in Ireland began for them a series of travel adventures near and far, making new friends wherever they visited. They also shared a love of animals, especially for their beloved “children”, Lulu and ‘Ry Lee’ Harvey Oswald. Darrin and Jennifer are lovingly remembered by their parents John (Laila), Mary (Dave), Robert (June), and Diana; sisters Jaimie and Jade; brothers David (Tracy) and Rob (Sue); niece Ruby and nephews Rylen, Jack, and Oliver. They both come from large extended loving families and have a tremendous number of friends who love them dearly and will greatly miss them.
