Obituary of SHIELDS– Edna

1924 –2010 After a long battle with Dementia, our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully at the Bowcrest Care Facility on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lori (George), Nancy (Bob); granddaughters Jodi (Darren), Lisa (James); great grandchildren Amber, Wyatt and Evan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George in 2001. At the request of the family, there will be no funeral. A private memorial service will be held at a future date. She has joined her love and together they can celebrate Christmas, her favourite time of the year. The family would like to thank the staff at Bowcrest Care Facility for making Edna’s last days as comfortable as possible.
