Condolences
Dear Mrs. Shepherd, Craig, Neil, Moira,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss…I have many fond memories of visiting your home and listening to Jim’s interesting stories spoken with his deep Scottish accent (which made it extra fascinating) and remember him laying on the kitchen floor “relaxing” and reading or working in the garage. He was a very decent person and will be missed.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Take care,
Ammon and Leslie Moriyama

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time- sorry we couldn’t be there in person. Ammon has very fond memories of your father.

On behalf of all of us at JW Plumbing & Heating Ltd, I would like to express our deepest sympathies. Jimmy was such a great guy and we all loved sharing a few laughs with him. We usually covered his calls for him when he went away on holidays and his clients were always so dismayed when they had to settle for “second best”! In our office, we often heard Jim’s clients say what a great guy he was and that they had been his happy and satisfied customers for years.
We are glad that he had a one last vacation with you as those will be fresh and happy memories that will continue to give you comfort. Heaven must have been in need of a plumber and they only wanted the best!
I am sorry that I can’t make it to Jimmy’s service today but we are actually down in Oregon right now. Since the time we got the call from home, I have been reflecting on all my conversations with Jimmy and they always bring a smile to my face. He was a great guy whose positive energy and happy demeanor will be missed, especially down at the wholesalers.
Take care and please find comfort in the knowledge that Jimmy will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him.

We were saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. For many years until we moved to a condo Jim did work for us in our Palliser home and we always had tea and talked for an hour or so when he finished. He always had such a positive attitude and a twinkle that made us always glad to see him. He kept us up to date on the children and grandchildren, especially Moira whom I taught many years ago. I phoned him about 3 weeks ago and the message said he was on holidays and would be back mid-Sept. so it was a shock to hear of his passing. We Leave for the Maritimes tomorrow, Sept. 24th so we will not be able to attend the funeral.
Our condolences to the family Bill and Betty McNamee
Dear Helen and Family
Please know my thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. Our Dad passed away in June so we can appreciate what you are going through.
I must tell you how proud Jim was of his family. He always told me the great things Neil and Craig were doing with their lives. Moira and Brocks kids were extra special…he always had a big grin on his face when he was telling me about them.
Best wishes to all of you.
I will miss him too!

Hi The three of us will all be there. Sorry to hear the news. Calum is ill with cold and cough and I, Andrea, am on medicine as I have a personal surgery to go to on Monday so Frank will bring us. Our stay might be shortened due to this please don’t take it personally. Jill just left Calgary Sept 18 2010 so will not be here but her thoughts are with you. Nancy will be there and Irene as an Angel and my dad, Jim is trying to make it as he is in Ottawa but plans to attend. See you then. Jim was a wonderful, hard worker who loved to have tea while he did his career. Prayers sent out to the family
