Obituary of REICH – James Jim Albert

April 29, 1950 – September 6, 2010 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Albert Reich of Calgary, on Monday, September 6, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Jim graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972 and was a dedicated electrical engineer throughout his entire career. He moved to Calgary in 1977 but remained a “True” Roughriders’ fan. A loving father, Jim spent many years coaching his daughters’ softball teams for Southfour Calgary. Jim is survived by his wife Connie; daughters, Catherine Curkan (Chad), Carolynn Sander (Mike), Candice Cooke (Graham), and Caylie (fiancé Brett); grandsons, Colby, Cale, Carson, and Cyle; sisters, Lavonne Beasley (Ron), June Nemisz and her son Nickolas. He was predeceased by his parents, Emily and Wilfred, and grandson Caiden. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
