Obituary of LINNEY – Edward Trayor

January 30, 1927 – September 6, 2010 Ted Linney passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, September 6, 2010 at the age of 83. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He is survived by his brother Gordon Linney, daughters Robyn (Chris Lawton), Lori (Mike Shields) and Colleen (Randy Moore) and grandchildren Erin and Chrissy Lawton, Nicole and Ryan Shields, as well as numerous extended family members. Ted was born on January 30, 1927 in North Battleford, SK. He was raised in Edmonton and graduated from the University of Alberta, moving to Vancouver and eventually settling in Calgary in 1960. He pursued a successful career as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed travelling the world with his brother, working on renovation projects and driving his Mustang convertible. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
