Obituary of BROUWER – Janny

February 12, 1929 – September 4, 2010 Janna (Janny) Lodewijka Brouwer of Calgary, passed away at home on Saturday, September 4, 2010 after experiencing deteriorating health issues. Born in Onstwedde, The Netherlands, Janny immigrated to Canada in 1954 and has called Calgary home since 1957. Janny worked at Marsh and McLennan, at which time she pursued her insurance studies. For many years, until retiring at age 71, Janny enjoyed the position of Corporate Pension Manager at Burns Foods. Janny leaves to mourn her passing, extended family and friends in both The Netherlands and Canada. Following a private family burial, a Memorial Service will be held at River Park Church (3818 – 14 A Street S.W.) on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
