Obituary of SHOWMAN – Louise Aleen

January 8, 1946 – August 4, 2010 Louise Showman of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Louise met her husband Bob in 1967 in Calgary. They were married July 26, 1969. Bob and Louise lived in Hillhurst until 1972 when they moved to Bowness. Bob and Louise lived in Bowness with their family for the last thirty-seven years. Louise was an avid gardener who also enjoyed painting and doing many different crafts. She was a member of the Calgary Horticulture and Orchid Society. She also spent many years involved with the 169th Beavers/Cubs/Scouts. Louise is survived by their four children, Kevin (Kim), Wade, Brian (Carolyn), and Christina (Derek); and grandchildren, Alexis, Joshua, Kaden, and Isabelle. She is also survived by her mother Vera; sisters, Joan and Rita; and brother Garry. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob in January of this year and her father Ralph Toffelmire.
