Obituary of GARD – Mary Alberta

June 17, 1928 – July 20, 2010 Mary Alberta Gard born in Calgary, Alberta 1928 passed away peacefully at Agape Hospice on July 20, 2010, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Mary was a long time member of the Samaritan Club of Calgary, Canyon Meadows Golf Club and Christ Church, Elbow Park. Mary is survived by her son James Clayton Gard of Calgary, her sister Geraldine Traunweiser of Victoria, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Bill, sisters Myrtle Stark of California and Lois Leith of Australia. A service will be held at a later date in Victoria, B.C.
