Obituary of Brooker – Heather

June 4, 1954 – July 13, 2010 Heather, beloved wife of Robert for thirty-six years, of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the age of 56 years. Heather was born in Nova Scotia and then moved with her family to Calgary where she had a twenty plus year career at a Hotel in Motel Village. She had a passion for horses and gardening which were her stress relief. Many will remember Heather fondly for her love of dancing. Heather is survived by her husband Robert; son James; and mom Stella Chaisson of Courtenay, BC. She is also survived by her brothers, Dan and his wife Sharon, Doug and his wife Carol, all of Vancouver Island, Brian and his wife Tanis of Airdrie, AB, Colin and his wife Patty, Graham and Al, all of Calgary; mother-in-law Gwen Brooker of Edmonton and Barbados; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Heather was predeceased by her father Edward Chaisson; brother Chris Chaisson; and father-in-law William Brooker. A celebration of Heather’s life will take place at a later date.
