Obituary of MOONEY – Marilyn Ann

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Ann Mooney, beloved wife of Dennis Mooney of Calgary, on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Marilyn was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, second to none. Besides her loving husband Dennis, Marilyn is survived by her children, John (Chantelle) Mooney, Mike Mooney, and Kara-Lynn (Derek) Scott; and by nine grandchildren to whom she will always be the world’s greatest Nan. She will also be sadly missed and fondly remembered by three sisters, Cathy (Russ) Velker, Margot (Al) Muchka, Jane (Don) Lambertus; two bothers, Murray (Carol) McCann, and John (Deborah) McCann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is mourned by a large number of family and friends who were touched by her boundless love. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
