Obituary of SLISKO – Anto Tony

January 17, 1952 – June 3, 2010 Tony Slisko beloved companion of Elizabeta Lorger of Calgary passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the age of 58 years. Tony was born in Brezici and immigrated to Canada in December, 1975 moving to Calgary in 1981. Tony worked hard operating AMPM Painting and Decorating for thirty years. He loved what he did, creating “masterpieces”. Tony enjoyed working in his garden and sharing his crop with his family. He also liked sharing stories, and loved the opportunity to share them with anyone who would listen. Tony is survived by his loving companion Elizabeta and their son Viktor, his former wife Jela, their two sons and daughters-in-law, Danijel and Rosina Slisko; Tomislav and Jennifer Slisko; five grandsons Alexander, Anton, Dominiko, Justin and Maximo. He is also survived by four brothers, Andrija, Ivica, Mijo, Karlo and a sister Ankica as well as their families. Tony was predeceased by son Anton in 1999, his parents Jozefina and Ivan Slisko and a sister Kata.
