Obituary of ALAIA – Bruna

January 20, 1928 – May 30, 2010 Bruna Alaia passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Bruna was predeceased by her husband Gaetano in 1998. Left behind to celebrate her memory are a brother and sister in Italy, Romualdo Presta and Filomena Gualteri; and sister, Ada Trotta of Calgary. Carrying on are her children, Gennaro (Valerie), Michele (Sonja), Ersilia (Francesco), and Aldo (Michelle). I suoi tesori, ten grandchildren, Gaetano, Alessandra, Loredana, Giorgio, Enrico, Francesca, Jessica, Giulio, Gabriele, and Luigi. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
