Obituary of TAMSEN – Roxsane

(Born Brenda Susan Stewart-Burgoyne) July 13, 1952 – February 14, 2010 Roxsane Tamsen of Calgary, our loving sister and aunt, passed away peacefully with her family and friends near, on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the age of 57 years. She courageously battled cancer for six months. Roxsane had a great sense of humour, a love of animals and a fondness for country music. She worked for the Calgary Airport Authority and was a member of the zany Red Hatters group. She was also a lifetime member of TOPS. Roxsane is survived by her mother June Stewart-Burgoyne of Calgary; James Stewart-Burgoyne of Sudbury; Valerie (Bernie) Emond of Fernie, BC; Malcolm Stewart-Burgoyne of Medicine Hat, AB; Pauline (Randy) Ross and Veronica (Richard) Saretsky, all of Calgary; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and her special friend Raivo Sommer. She was predeceased by her father Joe. Roxsane will be sadly missed by all her friends and family. A Celebration of Roxsane’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
