Obituary of HORNE – Margaret Jacqueline Peggy

April 15, 1926 – February 7, 2010 Peggy Horne, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7th, 2010. Peggy was born in Calgary on April 15, 1926 and lived her entire life here as a proud Calgarian. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles (Chuck) in 2001 and her grandson Clayton Thomson in 2004. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters; Lynn (Roy) Finley, Shelly (Ron) Thomson and Cindy (Mark) Maubert; her grandchildren Cody and Jamie (Kimi) Finley; Kelsey (Justin) and great-granddaughter Charlie Wetsch; Jordi (Kyla) and soon to-be-born baby Thomson; and Courtney and Graham Maubert. She also leaves behind her brother Paul (Joanne) Helmer and sister-in-law Doreen Helmer. Peggy will always be remembered for her wonderful zest for life and will be missed by all that were blessed to know her during her long and healthy life.
