Obituary of McKAY – Margaret H. Peggy

September 25, 1930 – February 6, 2010 Peggy, beloved wife of Jim McKay of Calgary died from pneumonia on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Peggy was born on September 25, 1930. She lived most of her married life in Calgary, with ten years living in Medicine Hat. She worked for the Oil and Gas industry as a steno and payroll clerk with Taro Industries. Peggy and Jim enjoyed many trips to Mexico and the many cruises they took together. She was a devoted member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. Peggy’s favourite saying was “thank you kindly”. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years Jim, sister Woneetta Hamilton, niece Margaret Rose, nephew Ed Surbey and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
